The Boil Water notice that has been in place from 18 August 2026 in Batlow has now been lifted in consultation with NSW Health. Water in the Batlow reticulation is now safe to drink without boiling.

Batlow residents are advised to boil their tap water used for drinking or to use bottled water until further notice due to a treatment plant process failure. Council advises water with low chlorine levels has been supplied into the water network due to a treatment plant equipment failure.
